ASDCO is currently working with a new product on the market called UNI-Eco-Stone®. UNI Eco-Stone® is a permeable interlocking concrete pavement system designed to direct stormwater runoff through infiltration, thus reducing volume flows, improving water quality and recharging groundwater.

As open land is developed and covered with impervious surfaces such as asphalt roadways, concrete parking decks and buildings, there is an increase in stormwater runoff that may result in downstream flooding, streambank erosion and excessive strain on existing drainage facilities. Research indicates that stormwater runoff is also the primary source of pollutants found in surface waters and often contains a toxic combination of oils, pesticides, metals, nutrients and sediments. UNI Eco-Stone® can be used in both commercial and residential applications and can be arranged in many decorative patterns to appeal to the environmentally minded contractor.
