Our roots in Duluth can be traced back to the Zalk Joseph Company. The Zalk Joseph Company, a steel fabricator in Duluth, was instrumental in the growth and development of this great region by providing the structural steel that built our vital industries and buildings. In the early 1970's, Zalk Joseph Company combined three of its branches (Arrowhead Steel Distributing, Standard Salt & Cement, and Duluth Builders Supply) to form one distribution Company called ASDCO. More recently, in 1987, Asdco became part of the API Group of companies and joined forces with The Jamar Company, a mechanical and architectural contractor in Duluth since 1913. Our history helps strengthen our resolve to build a lasting relationship
